The NamesCon extended auction will be ending today at GoDaddy Auctions. The extended auction is a mix of domain names that did not sell in the live auction and domain names that were not including in the live portion of the auction. It looks like there are several hundred domain names in the extended auction. In the live auction that took place during NamesCon, over $1.8 million worth of domain names were sold. You can have a look at the 2020 NamesCon auction results to see what sold.
From what I can see, here are the five highest priced domain names that have hit their reserve price and will sell:
- Automating.com – $50,000
- Pandas.com – $22,000
- PuppyLove.com – $17,250
- Volatile.com – $4,301
- ImmigrationVisa.com – $2,650
There are quite a few domain names that appear to be at least relatively close to hitting their reserve prices.
If you see a domain name in auction that you like that doesn’t meet reserve, you can probably reach out to Monte Cahn from Right of the Dot to try and get a deal done. Perhaps a seller would be willing to reduce a reserve price in order to close a deal. I believe most sellers were required to sign exclusivity agreements for some period of time beyond the closing date, so there should be some time to get additional deals done.
Thanks Elliot! Yes some great names already hitting reserves with several others very close. Auctions are starting to close now through the end of the day. Good luck to the bidders, buyers and sellers!
