Registration Opens for 2021 NamesCon Online

Earlier this month, NamesCon announced its 2021 schedule of events. The annual NamesCon Global event that has been held each January (last in Austin, Texas) will be a virtual event called NamesCon Online. The exclusively online conference will take place January 27-29, 2021. NamesCon has plans for a hybrid and an in-person event for later on in the year, but I imagine the status of the Covid-19 pandemic will determine whether in-person events will be able to be held in 2021.

Tickets for the event are now available to purchase via EventBrite for an early bird price of $59. With fees, the total cost to attend is $62.66 if purchase the conference pass before November 30. It looks like the price will increase to $79 ($83.36 with fees) if you book any time after November 30. Notably, conference passes are non-refundable.

For those who have not attended a NamesCon event before, conference organizers offer a free conference pass: “If this will be your very first NamesCon event, then join us as our guest! First-time investors, this one’s for you.” More information about this offer will be posted in the near future, but attendees who would like to take advantage of this promotion are required to fill out a survey in advance.

The agenda for the conference has not been posted, and organizers are inviting people to submit their ideas for panels and keynotes.

I purchased my conference pass this morning.
