Rate Your Registrar

Subscribe to Elliot's BlogAndrew Allemann of Domain Name Wire just launched a new website where you can rate various aspects of your favorite (or least favorite) registrar. The new website, called Registrar Judge, allows users to submit reviews on 12 of the largest domain registrars, with the plan to add more registrars in the future.
This is a nice way to provide feedback to others in the domain industry as well as those who work for the registrars.   Congrats to Andew on the launch!

  1. Thanks for the mention, Elliot. So far people are submitting a handful of reviews — thanks! I still need people who have used Melbourne IT, Fabulous, and Tucows to get things kicked off on those.

  2. We started buying domain names in 1995, when about the only game in town was Network Solutions. We have had experiences with 10 or so registrars.
Having a rating service, by the people, is a great way of policing registrars practices. We also commend you Andrew for your efforts in this important area.
We found through many negative experiences our way to Moniker, with most of our properties. We find moniker to be the most transparent of all the top tier registars. Please keep on earning our trust.
