According to a tweet from Identity Digital (formerly Donuts), the Bet.bet domain name reportedly sold for $600,000. I have not verified or researched the veracity of the sale report, but it was indexed in NameBio today.
Identity Digital is the company that operates the .Bet domain extension. In its tweet, Identity Digital mentioned that the domain name had been acquired by the seller for five figures in April of 2023. At that time, the domain name was acquired directly from the registry operator:

From the looks of it using DomainTools, the Bet.bet domain name had been privately registered at Name.com until last month. It transferred under Whois privacy to GoDaddy, where it is now registered. When I visited the domain name to try and see how the domain name is being used, I see an error message that says “Sorry, you have been blocked You are unable to access bet.bet.”
NameBio only has 101 .Bet domain name sales indexed. The next largest sale reported in NameBio is MMA.bet at $48,000. According to nTLDStats.com, there are just shy of 70,000 registered .Bet domain names in existence. I don’t recall seeing advertising of websites using .Bet domain names, but the only gambling I do is the occasional blackjack session with friends.
Personally, I don’t really understand the branding of Bet.bet but what do I know. If Ron Jackson is able to verify the sale, it will be at the top of the YTD chart on DNJournal.
That’s quite a coincidence that .Bet just made the news like that.
I have one of them, my co that is.
To tell you the truth, as new non-com TLDs go, “.bet” is actually very good for the niche.
I also have the .com, in multiple variations. I’m seriously thinking of subordinating the .com to the .bet instead of the other way around. As I’ve said before, I’m mainly an end user now, so there is no effort to sell this, though I would in this particular case.
Also note – the comment under your recent thread about taking some profits and enjoying them, etc., is mine, as you know but your readers may not. Therefore, do know this:
1. This world most certainly is ending in the fire of God’s judgment.
But, (surprise surprise), regardless of anyone who says otherwise:
1. Gambling is not intrinsically evil or sin. And those of you who really are some of God’s people, don’t even try it, because those who are dogmatic about that in the church are wrong, period.
And that is why I can talk here about not only liking “.bet” but actually even using it.
Carry on. 🙂

Sheesh – I am glad I skied White Heat yesterday before reading your comment about the world ending in fire. That might have scared me out of it.
Unfortunately, I hurt my knee a month ago on a trail called Wildfire.
I need to stay away from these hot trails.
Joking aside, I hope you do well with your domain name.
Thanks. Very droll. A great many of us were not simply brought up a certain way, such as “in the church,” so I can relate to where you’re coming from and used to be there myself.
I remember once in college some guy started preaching on campus and I joked something along the lines that we were just an alien experiment planted here. Little did I know that not long after that I would be doing it on campus myself in an even bigger way. (The library was a mistake – people need to study, but people make youthful mistakes. The dining room, however, not so much.) 😉 It was a big university too, so nice big audience. 😉
The Apostle Paul was actually an extremely high status guy in ancient Israel. He was even hunting people down for what he thought was serving God. Then, if you know the story, you know what happened.
That’s how it is, Elliot. One day we’re joking and what not, just like you, thought often not as nicely as you, which I appreciated, 🙂 and then one day the God of Abraham decides to “enlighten” us. Then it goes from hunting people down to doing the very thing we opposed ourselves. 🙂
And thanks for your well wishes for the domain. Perhaps I’ll even get another one. 🙂
Sounds like Donuts typical nonsense, lets see if DNjournal is willing to report it.
I own one of those in .com — the 2 keywords — no major offers
who knows? maybe i should put these gaming names on the market
one of our community’s stellar brokers tried to sell my whole gaming portfolio, but it’s challenging to get top dollar when selling portfolios
i think I’ll just list the whole circa 2000 gaming domains on afternic/dan
Circa 2000? There may be some decent ones then. How can I contact you to get a full list?
Steve, ps: I’m not going to blow my cover or talk to any broker or anything. I just want to “keep it real” and keep it simple, check out your list, then maybe buy one or more anonymously the way it’s often done. If I do buy any then you’ll certainly learn more about me afterward, lol.
Also, I may just wind up giving you valuable advice you probably won’t hear from any broker. God willing, time will tell.
I do hope this is correct as I own some great .bet domains
