From what I have heard so far, DomainFest Asia was a pretty big hit. Late last night, Simon Cousins tweeted that the date for next year’s conference was announced by conference organizer, Jothan Frakes. According to the tweet, DomainFest Asia will be held in Hong Kong September 19-22, 2016. I do not know if the venue was announced yet.

I expect to get a full run down of the event in the next few days, and I am hoping to be able to share some first person feedback from at least one attendee. Judging by a few of the things I have seen on social media and in emails, the inaugural DomainFest Asia conference was a success.
I love to travel, and attending conferences in various parts of the world allows me to explore places I may not have traveled to if it were not for the conferences. One issue I have noticed is that many conferences don’t give ample notice of the conference dates. These days, it’s not very easy for me to travel 6+ hours away for more than a couple of days without a far enough lead time (3 year old and 6 month old make travel tough!). Knowing the exact dates of a conference a year in advance makes it more likely that I will be able to attend.
Mark your calendars for September 19-22. Hopefully, I will see you there.
Great point, Elliot! Couldn’t agree more regarding advance notice and family 🙂
