The Wrap posted a humorous video with John Oliver, and there’s some domain name humor involved. In the video, John Oliver discusses the Sackler family and the opioid epidemic.
Domain branding wisdom from @iamjohnoliver as he trolls the Sackler family by buying the matching .com to their .info fluff site, that they were too cheap to spend $2500 to acquire. "What kind of f—ing idiot would set up an important website and not buy the .com?” https://t.co/IpnVpCxqSQ

Apparently, the Sackler Family (associated with Purdue Pharma) set up a website on JudgeForYourselves.info. John Oliver jokes around about the family not buying the matching .com domain name. Because they didn’t buy it, he bought JudgeForYourselves.com for a reported $2,500, and he launched a parody website on it.
In the video on the homepage of JudgeForYourselves.com, actor Richard Kind shared his thoughts on the Sackler’s .info domain name usage. “What kind of fucking idiot would set up an important website and not buy the .com,” he humorously asks.
The Sacklers should be in shackles in a rat infested prison.

An ironically good example of a typical behavior of .com maximalists. Rather than being civil, inspirational and persuasive, they choose to be impolite, trollish and unkind. I find it sad to see such things happening in the domaining sphere.
