TRAFFIC Offering One Day Passes

I wanted to pass along the news about the TRAFFIC conference offering one day passes to those who can’t attend the entire conference or don’t wish to pay the full amount to attend. There are two options for the one day pass, which will go on sale tomorrow (Monday, May 20).

In case you are interested, here are the two single day pass options as explained by Rick Schwartz:

Pass #1 will include the Big Wednesday Night Opening Cocktail party PLUS all Thursday events, including Breakfast, Lunch, Seminars, Auction, Party and the Best Networking in the Industry. Cost for that is $1395

Pass #2 will include the Thursday Night Water School Party plus all Friday events, including Breakfast, Networking Lunch, Seminars and After Party. Cost for that is $895 including the $50 donation to the Water School on your behalf.

I think it’s a bit silly to spend so much on a one day pass, but I suppose if you can’t make the entire conference, it’s a better option than paying close to $2k for a full conference pass.

TRAFFIC is being held at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas from May 29 – June 1, 2013. The conference schedule is now online, and most of the panels/panelists have been announced. Full conference passes are $1,795, and I believe they will be more at the door.

  1. So now if you come to Vegas (not for TRAFFIC) and say you aren’t going to TRAFFIC because you’re only going to be there 1 day to hang with friends or meet clients, Rick can bust your balls and say you are a cheapskate because you didn’t buy his 1 day pass. Good strategy Rick !

  2. I believe a number of people over the past many years had asked about a ‘one day pass’ for Traffic.

Apparently, he finally agreed to the request. And, now he is being criticized for that.

I guess you can’t please everyone.
