Spaceship: Request a Feature

There have been many times I visited a domain industry website and thought of an idea that would be helpful. On occasion, I’ve taken some action and gotten in touch with a decision maker to offer a suggestion. Off the top of my head, I don’t recall seeing anything implemented (yet).

I received an email from Spaceship this morning announcing a new service called Unbox. You can read about that offering on the Spaceship website.

What caught my attention in this morning’s email is the section about growing together:

With these options, Spaceship is actually courting feedback from its customers on how to make a better product and offer better service. This simple call to action is a great way for the company to hear from customers about how they can improve and possibly offer services that will benefit users.

From a user perspective, this shows that Spaceship is interested in learning what its customers want and the company is willing to consider new offerings with customers in mind. In addition, highlighting the product roadmap shows what the company is working on releasing. There’s also a vote functionality, which can help customers show Spaceship what they deem important.

I don’t think enough industry companies seek feedback from customers. This is a great way to help get an idea of what customers need and give them what they are seeking in a registrar and domain name sales platform.

  1. I really loved their dashboard. It’s rare to find such a modern UI/UX in domain registrar websites. I hope every domain investor votes for the Fast Transfer and Sedo MLS support.

  2. As I said, I am using spaceshit alot and moving all my domains there and hosting my sites too BullShitWebsites.com
The only issue and the biggest issue is…BullShitWebsites.com domain was at Namecheap and hosting at spaceship but in order to transfer BullShitWebsites.com domain to Spaceship, you have to go thru lots of hoops…you have to remove all the connections at Spaceship and wait for a day.
It has been like this since day one.

Namecheap should change the name to Spaceship

other than that….spaceship is good for me so far…..

      • Dear Mr: Richard K,
        Yupper, I did transfer
https://gardenigloos.com/ from namecheap to Spaceship and it was easy peasy and got it done without any of the issues……thank you!!!

Another feature to have is …Spaceship auction platform
and approval for fast transfer via GD and Sedo.

Mr: Richard K,— I have given many constructive feedbacks for Spaceship and also my referrals. Would appreciate if you can give me $$$$ credit for all my efforts.

Use this Promo code: SPSCOMTR for all your transfers– save $$$

        Warm Regards,

  3. Yes, asking feedback from users/customers is a great way to gain loyalty, especially if the process is user-friendly/easy and doesn’t require extensive input.
