I was actively bidding on one of the domain names in Sedo’s monthly Great Domains auction, but alas, I did not win. In the auction that ended yesterday, 11 domain names were sold with just over $86,000 in sales.
Two three letter .com domain names drew the highest bids in the auction. OCB.com sold for $27,500 and OIR.com sold for $24,999. Decadent.com was the third highest selling domain name, closing at $13,500. FoldingChairs.com and FoldingTables.com also had solid sale prices.
The 11 domain names that sold are listed below. As always, keep in mind that these sales have not yet closed since the auction just ended. Sedo generally reports the final sale results to DNJournal once the sales are finalized and the transfers are completed. There are likely some domain names that just missed the reserve price (like Cellars.com), so if any of those are of interest, get in touch with a broker at Sedo.

My guess is you were bidding on this name:
decadent.com
I would speculate Elliot was going for one of the 3 letters.
Decadent would be a difficult (strange) word for a business to use.
i bet it was decadent.com
ez resale to a party courting decadent silicon valley denizens with ooooodles of bucks and ego…. to showcase / brag about off decadent lifestyle
Hmmm, not too difficult to find a end-user for Decadent… think of chocolates, spas, desserts …. Well, that’s me throughly side-tracked, now I will go and have a cup of tea instead!
