Recent Acquisitions

Although yesterday was probably the slowest day of the year for this website, today is probably going to be nearly as slow. I am sure many people are catching up on the work they missed to get things done before the end of the week (and end of the year), and others are spending time with their families or returning gifts.

With that said, I thought I would share 10 of my recent domain name acquisitions with you. As usual, the domain names mentioned below were bought in private or at NameJet. You are welcome to share some of your recent domain name acquisitions if you’d like.

Recent acquisitions:

  • GoldClaims.com
  • ExecutiveCoaches.com
  • Observations.com
  • MaineLobsterTail.com
  • PublicDocuments.com
  • BreastLift.com
  • AudiologyEquipment.com

  1. Solid names as usual Elliot – Do you have development plans for any or all for flips?

Hope you had a great Christmas yesterday!

I picked up NewYorkHotels.co.uk and have development plans for this domain.

    Regards,

    robbie

  2. Sint.tv (santa.tv in dutch) flipped after 8 days.
    HowToBeBad.com
    bnk.me
    DWIAttorney.me
    SeattleGaming.com
First-Money.com (yeah i know it has a hyphen)
    1india.net
    464.biz
    737.biz
    Patient.mobi
    Document.mobi (hand reg)

I figure if new gTLD´s are going to be a success maybe some of the old ones will get some new life blown into them as well. Plus all acquisitions were supercheap so i would only lose a little money.

  3. Nice names. Amazing deals to be had if you are able to buy.
I have PublicDocument dot com, nice to see you liked the keywords.

    Recent grabs,
    CommercialWashing dot com
    BioValve dot com
    Pugs dot ca
    Comedy dot us

  4. FlyNewark.com

    VoiceIdentify.com
    IdentifyVoice.com

    ConciergeMedicalPlan.com
    ConciergeMedicalPlan.com

    VipHealthService.com
    VIPHealthServices.com

    VipHealthProvider.com
    VIPHealthProviders.com

    DirectPrimaryCarePhysician.com
    DirectPrimaryCarePhysicians.com

    EncourageHealthy.com

    • If you care to state a price publicly for the health/medical domains I have
a buyer that I just sold a health domain to I would be glad to present. Assume in your price that there would be 15% commission to me. Ok to post publicly I will track you down if the buyer is interested.

    • @Larry

I have a nice portfolio of medical/health domains. Is your buyer an end-user or a domain investor? I would be willing to pay you 15% commission. There is one one-word health domain is a procedure that cost as much as $9,800 to perform. Send me an e-mail at dreamdomains@live.com

  5. I missed commenting on your names. PublicDocuments.com should be worth a lot. A lot of money can be made using that domain name.

  6. My favorite is biosciences.com.

I haven’t done much the past few months.

    Here are four:

    ferrypoint.com
    beaconcove.com
    oblige.net
    feerebates.com

    Happy Holidays.

  7. FloatingStores.com and the twitter, gmail, youtube channels. It’s burdensome to me to hand reg, then reserve the social, but it seems practical to preserve the brand. Plus, started to add content, so you can see what it is about: http://floatingstores.com

BreastLift – classic, short, 10 letter dot com which defines an industry – kudos to you!

  8. AllAmericanTaxi.net
    ExpressFlowerShop.net
    FinancialPress.net
    LocalFlowerShop.net
    PerfectCoffee.net
    PropertyFind.net
    RealEstateEscrow.net
    SmartGifts.net
    TheShoot.net

  9. While the singular might be slightly preferable, ExecutiveCoaches.com is still a very brandable name for that niche.

One recent Spanish acquisition which means “business man”…

    HombredeNegocios (.) com

  10. I am not a computer guy. But I have owned overhalfoff.com for a few years. I would have thought I could have done something with it by now. Would love to work with some one to develop it.

  11. Elliot,

Thank you for letting us share some of our domains, for me, it is always educational.

    I really like PetRetreat.com, but I am a sucker for animals. =)

    my recent domain grabs are:

    TexasCollegeFootball.com

    TexasCollegeLoans.com

    ChickHappyHour.com

    TexasInsurancePlans.com

    DallasCowboysOnline.com

  12. You acquired some nice names.

I pick up AmericanaSongs.com on Christmas.

    Americana is not a typo:)

Americana is “contemporary music that incorporates elements of various American roots music styles, including country, roots-rock, folk, bluegrass, R&B and blues, resulting in a distinctive roots-oriented sound that lives in a world apart from the pure forms of the genres upon which it may draw. While acoustic instruments are often present and vital, Americana also often uses a full electric band.”[2]

  13. Nice domains Elliot.

    Some of my recent acquisitions:

    Dealia.com
    eConverters.com
    SnapSeats.com
    TownHotels.com
    3dPrintingClub.com
    BotToBot.com
    ForexClicks.com
    InvestCourse.com
    3dConstructor.com
    WoodenMosaic.com

  14. mariachis.com …

I want to develop this site into a global directory for mariachi bands, as well as a central resource for everything mariachi.

Anybody with experience developing a directory site wanting to partner with me on this project, please contact me.

    Email me at @.com

The site is not listed in the SERPS yet, but receives a ton of direct navigation traffic. Looks promising.

    Thanks.
    Michael

  15. Hi Elliot,
Thanks for letting me post my recent domain purchases.
Here are my recent acquisitions. Most of them are “brandable type”. I know you are not a fan of the brandable niche but i can’t help loving them.

    Incsy.com (For online incorporation service)
    Profitsy.com
    ToughLooks.com
    Departly.com (For travel business?)
    NeatPay.com
    Celebrighty.com (Celebrity + Bright)
    EverCherished.com (For Photography site)
    SuperInitiative.com
    Excellaris.com
    PhotographySchooling.com
    Brandfence.com

    Among yours, I like BreastLift.com

  16. Sedo posted sales today include:

    extract.com at 1,277 USD

Isn’t that a major domain name? It looks like one you might have purchased. $1277 seems like a bargain price, even to a reselller.

    Did you bid on it?

    • Good. Appreciate that you concur.

May I voice an opinion? I see some, “sales,” never transfer, or I can only imagine they transfer within the same company. That is why that domain didn’t get more attention – it wasn’t intended for the general public.

Change of address for tax benefits – you get what I mean?

      Sold to a subsidiary.

Or maybe just blantent advertising on Sedo – an exchange of payment that stays within the company, with an, “advertising fee,” to Sedo!
