NamesCon Sponsor Spotlight: The Grid

NamesCon 2017  starts tomorrow! People from around the country and the world are beginning to descend on  Las Vegas! The Tropicana Hotel & Casino is playing host to the largest  NamesCon conference to date. Tickets are still available to purchase online or at the door!

This afternoon’s  NamesCon Sponsor Spotlight is with Dan Tocchini, CEO of The Grid, a guest of Uniregistry.

Who benefits from your product or service?

Any consumer or small business who wants to connect with their community to tell their story, build their brand or sell something. Most small businesses today are frustrated by the amount of time and money they have to invest in creating websites and then connecting with their customers and networks. The Grid makes this process as easy as using social media with all the benefits of owning your own digital presence.

How would you define your company strategy and vision?

Our vision goes beyond building websites. Our A.I. designer-in-the-cloud is called Molly and she can acquire other intelligent and automated services to complement your new website, such as getting a new domain name from Uniregistry. Our vision is for Molly to be your source for all the services needed to connect your business with your customers on the internet.

What major milestones has your company accomplished?

We have created the first A.I. designer-in-the-cloud that can build a beautiful website in minutes, from mobile or desktop for any device. 55,000 people paid us $5.2M in the largest ever consumer software pre-sale campaign outside the games industry. We launched our product three months ago and it’s now available to everyone.

Where can attendees find out more about your company, product or services while at NamesCon?

Visit us at https://thegrid.io/ or drop by the Uniregistry booth and events as we are planning to be in those locations.

If you have a company representative speaking at NamesCon, is there anything you can share about what to expect during your session or keynote?

We are doing two sessions – one about using A.I. to design your internet presence and the second will be a “live build” of a website in 3 minutes. We will also invite members of the audience to participate in the building process. This is a world first that you don’t want to miss.
