NamesCon Europe Auction Goes Live

It looks like the auction list for NamesCon Europe has been published on NameJet. Bidding on domain names in the upcoming conference auction has begun. Assuming the auction is run in the same way as the NamesCon Global auction in January, there will be a smaller group of domain names included in a live auction held on Thursday, June 20th.

I took a quick look through the auction page, and here are some of the notable domain names included in the auction:

  • Alright.com
  • Audio.com
  • KOL.com
  • NUE.com
  • Thriller.com

As you might imagine, most of the domain names included in this conference auction have reserve prices. At a quick glance, it looks like there are quite a few domain names that have already hit their reserve prices.

NamesCon Europe takes place in Cascais, Portugal from June 20 – June 22, 2019.

  1. Bidding on them has been live for about a week. The $300 min on a few is IMHO about 10x their value, but there are definitely a number of interesting names there.

  2. These are some desperate sellers. Penis.com redirects to a lander with $1,25M BIN, but the auction has reserve of only $300. Doubt seller is going to make more than a few dozen thousand.

      • My bad, I need to wake up. Still it would be a wholesale sale. By putting a little effort into monetizing the name, the owner could have earned that amount in few years.

  3. Pre-bidding officially started on Friday – http://www.namejet.com/featuredauctions/liveauction. There is a minimum bid of $300 for all names in the auction. The live auction will start June 20th at 5 PM Western Europe Time. The Extended online auction will run through July 2nd. RightofTheDot and NameJet are excited to bring yet another premium auction to NamesCon and offer some of the most valuable names available in the industry! 16 names have already hit reserve and many are priced to create bidding frenzies. Please register to bid on NameJet.com to participate in the auctions and hopefully you will be attending the conference live – https://namescon.com/ Good Luck to the bidders, buyers and sellers! More information to follow in the coming weeks leading up to the conference.

  4. I haven’t looked yet, but I can only hope and pray that the compulsory Estibot figure appears with each listing as usual so the world can be told just how much hugely less the domains are worth than any reserve or minimum.

  5. Regarding Penis.com – its priced to create bidding interest so go ahead and bid on it! That is why we have super premium names in the auction at low reserves and some at no reserves.
