Someone I follow on Twitter retweeted something from Jason Calacanis that referenced a .University domain name associated with the noted venture capitalist. Angel.University is a “workshop for individuals interested in becoming professional angel investors.” The workshop series is hosted by Jason in various locations:

Jason also updated his primary Twitter profile URL to Angel.University.
I looked through Jason’s Twitter timeline, and I noticed a reference to a second .University domain name – Founder.University, a workshop for startup founders that appears to be similar in nature to the Angel investment worship for a different target audience:

From what I understand, Jason is a serial entrepreneur and investor. Notably, he has owned and sold some high value .com domain names. In fact, Jason recently asked his Twitter followers if he should sell ADAY.com for the $900,000 offer he received to buy the domain name.
I think this is notable because of Jason’s large startup and tech following who could see his usage of .University domain names as an endorsement for the new gTLD domain name extensions.
From Linkedin, he has an interesting education,
