James Booth Announced as a NamesCon Keynote Speaker

NamesCon announced the first of several keynote speakers for the upcoming NamesCon Global conference. Domain broker James Booth, whose domain brokerage was recently rebranded as Phenom.com (from BQDN), will be speaking in a yet-to-be announced time slot during the conference.

Here’s what NamesCon said about James in this morning’s announcement:

“Meet our first keynote speaker for NamesCon Global 2020: James Booth, the domain broker who runs the award-winning Phenom.com. He’s cleared over $30 million in sales before turning 30, with $10 million in 2019 alone. James and his team are not just about investment, but helping brands evolve online—starting with that crucial first step: scoring the perfect name.

You’ll find that those bridges between various aspects of the domain industry—in this case, brokerage, investing, and branding—will figure heavily in this year’s event. Join us for a fireside chat with James Booth as he discusses the many facets of value that a domain can offer, and the key role trust plays in forming the relationships that make deals happen.”

NamesCon Global will be held in Austin, Texas from January 29 – February 1. Conference attendees have announced a rough outline of an agenda so far, but I believe James is the first announced speaker to date.
