Sedo will be running a “Domain Hack” auction in about a week and a half, and they are accepting auction submissions until April 19th. The auction will begin on April 26th and conclude on May 3rd.
Here is the criteria for domain names to be considered for Sedo’s auction:
“The domain name must suggest a word or phrase by combining Keyword and TLD. It has to have objective commercial value or needs to be widely known. Once you submit your domains, our brokerage team reviews these against our criteria. It is up to the discretion of our domain brokers whether your domain is accepted for the Domain Hacks Auction (Domains under review cannot be put up for sale for about 3 – 5 business days). “
For today’s daily poll, I would like to know if you own any domain hacks. For what it’s worth, I do not own any that I can recall off the top of my head:
Why have a domain name that “suggests” a word / phrase, when you can now own a wide range of domain names that /are/ a phrase?
Aren’t “domain hacks” all a bit yesterday?
Are new gTLDs domain hacks as well?
It’s a lie, my domain meets all the requirements and it was not accepted.
There is little serious a company that invites you to participate, rejects you and never tell you the reason for rejection.
My domain is trag.us
What does “tragus” mean?
I thought a hack was something like Hac.ks.
Maybe is not a common enough word or your reserve was set too high? I noticed someone mentioned about that in namepros and once adjusted their reserve, got accepted. Mind you, Sedo rejected a lot so there is a criteria you have to meet, whatever it all is.
And I don’t know why my previous comment didn’t go through but I was just trying to say that mine got accepted (inju.red)!
I own Feti.sh
I own about 100 of domain hacks, like Challen.ge Levera.ge Sur.ge etc 🙂
SEDO is arranging the new auction for hacks, they I have successfully missed :)) I hope next time you will write about it in advance :))
