Clarivate Analytics Hiring Corporate Account Manager, Domain

Clarivate Analytics, the parent company of domain management firm MarkMonitor, posted a job opening for a Corporate Account Manager related to domain names. The job opportunity might be of interest to a reader who has domain industry experience and expertise. The job will be based out of the company’s Boise, Idaho service center.

The Corporate Account Manager job opportunity was posted on LinkedIn a few days ago. At the time of publication, fewer than 25 people have applied for this job.

Here’s an excerpt from the job description that covers the position as it relates to domain names and domain name management:

“This position requires a high level of activity and use of a CRM (Salesforce) to manage your territory. The Corporate Account Manager will have an understanding of the “rhythm” of selling to achieve both quarterly and annual objectives. Primarily, the role will focus on helping ensure our existing customers have full understanding of the suite of services we provide, how they might benefit from those services, and providing real consultative value primarily in the domain management, hosting, and SSL certificate space.”

Of note, and the reason I am writing about this job opening, is the requirement that the candidate have experience with domain names:

“Strong knowledge and experience with Domain management, digital certificate, and/or domain name hosting is required”

It looks like the employee will be placed on the MarkMonitor team. MarkMonitor helps to manage the domain name portfolios of some of the largest companies in the world. They are involved in many high level and high value domain name acquisitions and negotiations.

If you or someone you know is interested in finding a corporate domain name management job and has domain industry experience, this could be a good opportunity.
