Not surprisingly, it looks like someone has already registered the AppleMcLaren.com domain name. AppleMcLaren.com was registered at GoDaddy earlier today under Whois privacy. As a result of the privacy, we don’t know if someone bought it because of the news or if someone affiliated with either company registered the domain name.
My guess is that the domain name was registered by someone unrelated to either company who read the news reports. In my opinion, that was a waste of $10 and could potentially become a liability should there be some sort of deal. I doubt Apple would want the domain name, and if they do, my guess is the company would probably go the legal route to secure it.

Apple wants to buy Mclaren to build Project Titan which is Apple’s self driving car. Mclaren is a huge part of Formula 1 racing and Apple is also in talks to buy the entire F1 Racing league which is worth about 10 billion dollars.
