It looks like a Network Solutions-affiliated registrar caught the 2869.com domain name after it expired and went through the deletion process. As a result, the auction is now live at NameJet and SnapNames.
As of right now, the high bid for this auction is $6,700, and there are 140 bidders participating (there may be some overlap between bidders who backordered the domain name at both venues). As I mentioned previously, Estibot values this domain name at $33,000.NameBio shows a wide range in sale prices for 4 number .com domain names. Throw in the fact that there isn’t a number “4” in this domain name, and bidding could be even higher.
I am curious if you think bidding will be higher or lower than the Estibot valuation. Vote in the poll below:
Review the graph at the bottom of this NameBio page: https://namebio.com/?s=wN4ETOxMTO
Estibot is very close in lining up with NNNN .com averages (the last NameBio average is $31k, which happens to be the same price paid for 3523.com).
Note that the graph is skewed pretty high in October due to the 10/5 sale of 0123.com for $252k on Flippa.
I think it’ll be lower than the Estibot and the last 4N sale because it doesn’t have a repeat, but probably not by much. Maybe $28k?
Obviously not held by a domainer, they will fall off their chair if they ever find out what they let get away!
Bidding is up to $23,956 as of 8:20 this morning. There are two days remaining.
Looks like this one might go much higher. I’ve got a friend in the auction that predicts its going for over $40k. The Chinese love their 4n domains.
Looks like this name sold above its Estibot valuation, closing with a SnapNames bidder prevailing at $39,567.
