This morning, I participated in the 2014 Pan-Mass Challenge bike ride – #PMC2014. There were just under 6,000 bicyclists who participated this weekend, all with a goal of raising tens of millions of dollars for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
I rode nearly 50 miles this morning in just under 3 hours. The route took me from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts to Patriot Place in Foxboro, Massachusetts, and then back to Babson. Most importantly, with your help, we raised $5,701 as of this morning! Wow. Thank you so much for the messages of support as well as your generous contributions to DFCI.
I am not sure how long the page will stay active, but I have a stretch goal of $7,000 to hit, and I will continue to passively fundraise until this campaign ends. Dana Farber is a great organization, and they use the funds for all types of cancer research and special programs for people with cancer.
Thank you all again for your generosity. It really means the world to me that you care.
