In December of 2021, Swetha Yenugula reported the sale of TipTop.xyz. The domain name was sold for $15,000 in a deal brokered by Lumis and closed via Escrow.com.

This afternoon, TechCrunch published an about Postmates founder Bastian Lehmann’s new crypto-focused startup called TipTop. The company recently raised $23 million in funding and will be operating on the TipTop.xyz domain name. The brand match .com domain name is being used by another company and is not for sale – something I learned when I previously tried to acquire the domain name.
I’ve seen people comment about Swetha’s exceptional .xyz domain name sales, and this is another good example of a business paying up for a nice .xyz domain name. In early May, I reported on Yuga Labs’ Otherside.xyz domain name acquisition. That domain name was also sold by Swetha for $30,000.
If it isn’t clear yet, I think many of us missed the boat when it came to .xyz domain names. Swetha seems to have acquired a portfolio of desired domain names, and she continues to achieve solid results.
