Right of the Dot (ROTD) will be operating the live and silent domain name auctions held during NamesCon. Monte Cahn, CEO of ROTD, tweeted that the auction is now open for pre-bidding on the HiBid.com auction platform:

I believe that bids placed during this pre-bidding period will be carried over to the live and/or silent auctions. Registration in advance is required and verification is required for bids over $2,000:
“To participate, bidders must first register at https://rotd.hibid.com. To place bids over $2,000, bidders must be verified so it’s important not to wait until the last minute to register. Registration with NamesCon Online is not required but is strongly encouraged. If you’ve registered with us in previous auctions, you will still need to register for this one.”
I don’t know if domain names are still being considered for submission, but on the auction page, there is a link to the ROTD website inviting people to submit domain names for auction consideration.
The live auction will be held on September 1, 2022 at 3:00 PM CDT in Austin, Texas. I believe the auction will be held in person at the NamesCon conference and will also be streamed online. Monte Cahn can answer specific questions about the auction.
