A .org domain name achieved the highest sale price in Sedo’s monthly Great Domains Auction, which ended this afternoon. sold today for $9,500, surpassing the $9,300 sale of and $7,600 sale of sold for $5,300. In total, 31 domain names were sold in this month’s auction for a total of nearly $60,000 USD.

These auctions just ended this afternoon and have not yet closed. Once the domain names are paid for and transferred, Sedo will report them to DNJournal and NameBio for archiving.

  1. $60k in net proceeds is not going to help pay the bills over at Sedo.

    They should really look at the reserves for many of these names, which are quite high. Low or no reserve names will sell. was a low reserve and it took the top spot.

    No sense in having tons of bids and no sale is completed. Everyone loses and it’s a waste of time for all parties.
