Great sage advice. Some people expect to buy domain names and have the cash register start ringing, which isn’t the case.
Lord Brar – great post!
Elliot – “you need to find a niche that works for you” – GREAT ADVICE. One thing most people find it hard to do (me included) is to “FOCUS”…can’t stress enough the importance of “FOCUS”.
By the way, congrats on Lowell.com – me and my mother were both born in Lowell at Lowell General Hospital 🙂 Good luck with it!
It is really hard to come up with a good name, why because all the good names where all registered long ago before most of us came to the scenes.
What is interesting though is that it is quite easy to come up with a unique name that others will laugh up at first. The trick nowadays in not to go for obvious, but to be creative.
I agree that being creative is key now and think also that some good names are still out there for the taking if you are creative enough.
