Blog Updates and Housekeeping Issues

I hope that you are finishing up a nice weekend. I spent mine with friends, family, and football :-). I want to share a couple of blog updates with you.

For some reason, I have been noticing a TON of spam over the course of the past couple of months. It seems like a massive influx lately. Luckily, the spam filter seems to catch most of the spam, but the additional spam means it’s more difficult for me to identify legit comments that were accidentally flagged as spam. If you post a comment and it seems to disappear, it likely means it was sent to the spam folder. If this happens to you, please contact me and I will try to find and approve the comment manually.

I am on Domaining.com most of the day, but I often overlook blog posts that I really want to read. If you want to get notified when a new blog post is published on DomainInvesting.com, please sign up for email notifications. On the right sidebar in the field under “Get Notified of New Articles,” type your email address and hit submit. Whenever a new blog post is published, you’ll receive an email with the title of the blog post and first paragraph. If it’s of interest, you can click through and see the article. This is all taken care of via the JetPack WordPress plugin.

If you want to receive a daily email summary of articles that were published on DomainInvesting.com the previous day, you can sign up for the email newsletter. The morning email is distributed via Feedburner, and it has the first paragraph of articles that were published the previous day. This will let you know whether you missed something, and it can also serve as a reminder if you read an article and wanted to re-visit it. I feel like the comments help make an article more interesting, so revisiting an article the next day after others have left comments can be helpful.

I know it can be difficult to stay informed of articles that are of interest, so perhaps you’ll want to sign up for these two types of notifications. I am pretty sure it’s easy to unsubscribe if you find that there are too many emails. Also, I don’t have any plans to use the email addresses for any purpose other than what you are signing up.
