BetU.com Sold for $180k via Squadhelp

Earlier this morning, James Booth announced that he sold BetU.com for $180,000. The domain name was sold via Squadhelp, a domain name sales platform that helps businesses select a brand name. The deal was announced on Twitter:

The buyer of BetU.com is currently unknown. The domain name transferred from Uniregistry to Epik, where it is now registered under Whois privacy. The domain name forwards to what appears to be a standard Epik landing page with a link to contact the owner.

From what I can tell using NameBio and DNJournal’s year to date sales report, this is the third largest publicly reported gambling domain name sale in 2021. The largest sale is the sale of GoBet.com for $850,000 and the next largest sale is the $750,000 sale of Poker.net.

Once this sale is indexed in DNJournal, it will rank around the 50th largest sale year to date.
