Advertise to Domain Investors

I get a lot of inquiries about advertising on my blog, and I’ve been very lucky when it comes to advertiser renewals. As a result, I don’t often have openings on my blog for advertisers. I wish I could add more space for advertising, but I don’t think that would be fair to readers or other advertisers.

With that being said, I want to make a recommendation to domain companies who are looking to advertise to domain investors and others who are interested in Internet business, entrepreneurship, ecommerce, and other related types of articles.

Advertising space looks to be available on two blogs I read whenever they are updated Р and  Both Jamie and Shane have been writing very insightful articles, which take a considerable amount of time. They are able to offer a different perspective on things, and the information they share is invaluable.

As anyone who has built a website or who writes frequently knows, it isn’t easy to write for a living. Not only is it time consuming, but it can be frustrating and/or draining when people post rude commentary that is critical for the sake of making themselves feel better or simply to put someone else down.

To those of you who have emailed me in the past to advertise your services or products but I wasn’t able to accommodate you, I ask you to consider advertising on sites like Jamie’s and/or Shane’s. They put a considerable amount of effort into their articles, and I bet you’ll see a good return on your advertising investment.

Have a great weekend.

  1. Elliot,

Those kind words are worth more than any money I’ve ever earned domaining. To be respected by your peers is invaluable. As all bloggers know there are days when you think about quitting the blog because the time and effort needed to keep it fresh. And then there are days like today that make it all worthwhile. Thank you

  2. I agree on that elliot.. they both been doing it longer no doubt.. im not saying which one is better but imo and really do in depth research, interviews and the powers of generic domain names.. mikes research is top notch

now jamie i enjoy reading and been learning a lot. great content writter

shane is good and like his trading comentary and his flower business.

all three you cant go wrong.. i just had to throw sullysblog in the mix.. i hope i didnt offend any of you..

now elliot is the king in 2010 and a lot of domain bloggers deserve a lot of credit as well.

  3. I’m not even going to suggest myself. Perhaps 5 years from now.

Meanwhile, I support the folks nominated above, their blogs are superb. Keep up the good work, you to Elliot, congrats again for winning in SB. It is gestures like this that separate the wheat from the chaff.

  4. Hi El,

Although I have denied past requests to advertise on my blog,, I might accept certain ads now, and on my new domain sales blog,

Those interested in banner advertising on both sites, contact me. This is the first post I’ve made regarding this, and I only did so because you’re whining about not having enough room for them.

    What a #$(*$$~!!!!!

Anyway, I’ve promoted your site hundreds of times, so maybe sending those advertisers over to me would be nice!

  5. I second what Shane posted already! Thank you for the plug Elliot as it is always nice to hear some positive peer comments and it is greatly appreciated.
