In the past couple of months, I’ve registered a few “new” domains. Some were expirations and a few were fresh registrations. Â
CigarEnthusiasts.com
HeatingOilDelivery.com
Frengles.com (French Bulldog & Beagle Hybrid – I have a Puggle)
DrinkKoozie.com
DrinkKoozies.com
ThreeIn1CreditScore.com
ThreeIn1CreditReport.com
DeepSeaFishingTour.com
TripleCreditWatch.com
Nothing spectacular here. I would not have registered them or buy them on the aftermarket.
What are some of your recent registrations?
i like frengles since it is generic.
heatingoildelivery – surprised that was available.
fauxcolates – interesting name…now you need to create a product for the name.
i don’t like the credit report names with the mix of words and numerals.
deep sea fishing tour – only 2k unique results but hey it’s only $8. I spent more on lunch today.
i’ve reg’d much worse…..
What about myfirsttravel.com
obamaforwelfare.com
Just asking
Thanks
I don’t get obamaforwelfare.com. I look for names that can be used commercially when I buy.
Some of my recent hand registrations in .com are:
CobolConsulting
ShoeSpecials
EntranceEssay
PlacementExam
SATCoaching
BucurestiRomania
InterestFinance
They were all drops.
I like most of the ones on your list except for the two credit ones where three is spelled out but one is the number. I don’t think they’d get type-ins like that.
Here are some of my recent ones:
TurkeyDogs.com
BlinkFeed.com
CharacterDomains.com
GuyFlicks.com
BeverlyHillsPreschools.com
AlternativeBlogs.com
GovernmentCharts.com
ThemeTracker.com
UplandAttorneys.com
And here are other goodies had by GoDroppers:
godrops.com/grabs/
Elliot,
What is your plan with drinkkoozie & drinkkoozies? I think the names are good as there is a young (college age) population that are obsessed with these things. However, is the margin high enough on this type of product to put together an e-commerce site?
Since people are throwing out hand registrations; how about:
widgetsforblogs.com
popularcolleges.com
pbgflorida.com (pbg is short for palm beach gardens, which is commonly referred to as PBG)
I am thinking about doing a mini-site with one of these names, but have not decided if they are worthy yet.
@Elliot
TripleCreditWatch.com —- Good Job
Hey I did not know you were a real pet lover. I used to have a doberman before I went to the desert for 2 years. That rascal was a handsome looking thing!
I posted on my latest regs on my blog about two days ago
I love it!
I love that you hand register new domains.
I love doing it myself, it gives me a rush. (over 4,000 rushes to date)
I love when people say their are no good domains left to hand register.
(Hey, they’ve been saying this for at least seven years.)
I love this business.
About your names.
I won’t comment whether good or bad, but these don’t pass the radio test.
ThreeIn1CreditScore.com
ThreeIn1CreditReport.com
There are just too many combinations out there and they are registered.
(threeand1, threeandone, 3and1, 3andone)
Examples of some of my recent hand registrations include
DeliDept.com
DeliDepartment.com
FourStarRestaurants.com (but only one other variation)
Some in the past couple of years that have received nice offers include
ThreadingSalon.com
TheFirstFamily.com
FlatironDistrict.com
Disclaimer:
This is not an appraisal thread.
If anyone thinks they suck, that’s Ok.
You don’t have to live with them. 🙂
Again, thanks for sharing.
I like these:
CigarEnthusiasts.com
HeatingOilDelivery.com
DeepSeaFishingTour.com
TripleCreditWatch.com
TripleCreditWatch.com is interesting.
Hopping on the ‘these are my new regs’ bus –
NonGasVehicle(s).com
NonGasolineVehicle(s).com
One can ‘jones’ without a new reg or two, now and then!!
Cool!
I just hand regged EnglishDoodle.com. It is a cross between and English Retriever and a Poodle. Pretty cool dog and not that bad of a hand reg.
I recently bought these available names:
CCDImageSensor.com (used in digital cameras)
PorroPrism.com (part in Binoculars)
ExpressAffection.com (Speed Dating site?)
FlushedDownTheToilet.com
HolidayDoorbuster.com
HardcoreGamblers.com
I like ’em. We’ll see what happens, but it helps to run a website that helps people find fresh, available names. 🙂
I’m glad you guys are posting about hand reg’s. We all can’t be Domain gods like Rick Schwarts or Frank Schilling so hand reg’ing is a domaining staple for those who started after 2002.
Here are some of my fresh hand reg’s:
BowieCondos.com (Bowie is a city)
OnlineCriminalJusticeCourse.com ($8 cpc on google)
BudgetingSpreadsheets.com
LanguageOptions.com
ForexDataFeed.com
I taught my college student cousin some tricks of the trade this past week and he hand reg’ed (his very first domain!):
PlannerCalendars.com
This is the greatest business ever and I regret not being openminded to seeing the opportunity when I myself was a college student in the mid to late 90s!
Some recent names we purchased on the drop for less than $70…
EarNoseandThroatDoctor.com
BlogFathers.com
SnapBracelets.com
The majority of my domains are hand registered, below are some of the ones that I’ve got in the past few weeks. (You can see the rest on my website.)
AccessBayArea.com
AccessBeverlyHills.com
AccessHonolulu.com
BeverlyHillsLuxuryProperties.com
***EDITED BY ELLIOT***
Spam deleted – sorry.
I think these are some nice registrations Elliot – I think they are so many great domains out there still in .com .net and .org available to register.
***EDITED BY ELLIOT***
Spam deleted – sorry.
My latest reggs were:
Artikuj.com (Albanian for “articles”)
JewsReligion.com
InvestorsInvestment.com
Gezuar.com (Albanian for “cheers”)
GodOfSea.com
Bregu.com (Albanian for “coast”)
there was some more but I just cannot seem to remember them right now lol
btw Elliot Frengles.com seems to be the best one there from my point of view! Nice buy!
Elliot I didn’t mean to spam your site, when I said “ minimum offer considered for each domain: $50k “ that was meant as a little humor since we all have very high expectations for our newly hand-regged domains. (that’s why I put a little smiley face after that comment.)
@ Ojohn – You are right. I had just woken up and someone else had spammed right before you, and I saw your “minimum offer…” and deleted it without realizing the tongue in cheek nature. My bad and sorry.
Recent Regs (last six months)
CeremonySites.com
OutdoorReceptions.com
All domain is medium value for me, but
ThreeIn1CreditScore.com
ThreeIn1CreditReport.com
is zero for me.
BTW, this my latest handreg:
VoiceInbox.com
HumorWidgets.com
AerodynamicTrailers.com
Not intended as spam – Elliot just letting people know there are great domains out there available for Reg Fee similar to your domains that you hand registered but I can see how this might have been seen as spam.
Appolgies.
Robbie
@LittleDevil
SnapBracelets.com is a fantastic name! Congrats! That was a NameJet exclusive expiring name on Jan 15th… did they let that drop without going to PendingDelete?
@Jason – thanks
Actually, we were the only bidder on the name on the “Backorder by Date”, so the name was transferred to us instead of going to auction. It was a great find, that others just seemed to overlook on NameJet. It’s a great product name since “Snap” and “Slap” Bracelets are popular with kids, but they typically only sell for less than a dollar, so not sure what to do with the name yet.
@Little Devil Can you innovate and create unique snap bracelets that cost more than $1.00? Maybe you can add unique materials or designs.
@Elliot – Great idea! Didn’t even think of that.. I guess like the BobbleHeads.com venture, we could do something on a smaller scale with “Snap Bracelets”. I like the idea of offering unique materials and designs over a $1.00.
Thanks for the suggestion
@Little Devil
Just be careful… from Wikipedia:
“The bracelet was banned in several schools following reports of injuries stemming from improper use”
Fun post -seeing everyone’s names.
Elliot, I love your names. My favorites: CigarEnthusiasts, HeatingOilDelivery, and DeepSeaFishingTour. Had no clue what a Koozie was but now that I do I see the potential!
Wonder what I dreaming about when I registered these:
ToMakeMoneySelling.com
AMillionDollarsMake.com
MillionDollarsMake.com
HowMakeMillions.com
My dream probably won’t happen with these but it is fun trying!
: )
Elliot,
I think you have done a pretty good job.
My Fav. is DeepSeaFishingTour.com
I dont usualy do to much snapping or handregister.
But did make a few handregistrations in the past months.
DirtyRestrooms.com
EcologicInvestments.com
EcologicRealEstate.com
WebTVstreaming.com
StreamingCompanies.com
So, if you have time to explore around there are opportunities.

Btw some of my handregs are:
InformationalSites.com

Thanks. (I hope!)
Elliot

Elliot
Could you please remove or change my comment above. I accidently wrote my email instead of my name and I don’t want my email to stand there because of obvious reasons like spam or e-mail collectors etc.
Thanks in advance.
(you can also delete this comment too)
This all looks very interesting!…2009 and people are still finding these names!!
I’ve speculated a bit on a few non .COMs, such as tanzanite.asia and trvl.asia
Is there really good money to be made?…and the big question…HOW?
Do you make money off your .COMs?
