I heard that last year’s Rocky Mountain Domain Conference was fun, and this year’s conference / meetup has been scheduled for October 17, 2013. The meetup will be held at a restaurant in downtown Denver, Colorado, although the exact location has not yet been announced.
I love Denver and have wanted to attend this meetup, but I will be at the TRAFFIC conference in Florida. (Update to avoid confusion about this: TRAFFIC is October 20-23).
If you would like to inquire about sponsorship opportunities, you can send an email to the organizer, Michael Law, using info@rmdc.co. You can also use that email address if you have questions about the meetup or want to reserve your spot. Last year, about 25 people from within the domain industry attended the event.
Visit the RMDC website or its Facebook page for more details and updates.
Why would they schedule at the same time ? sorry. bad move
Hi Elliot! Thanks for the coverage on the event!
@Adam – This is an evening meetup not a weekend long conference. In fact, the date does not overlap with any other domain conference. We checked with our local network and past attendees and that is the week worked the best in October.
@ Michael, Thank you for clarifying, I figured it couldn’t possibly be on the same date.
Traffic: October 20th-23rd
Rocky Mountain: October 17th.
This is how false rumors get started when someone posts misinformation.
Even if domainers were traveling by car they would still have a extra day or two in Fort Lauderdale.
All the best to you at your event.. Wish I could be there. 🙂
Yes, and I will be in Florida for TRAFFIC a week before, so I can’t be in Colorado.
I did not say it overlaps TRAFFIC, just that I will not be at the event because of the TRAFFIC conference.
