NARALO Talk: “The Secondary Market in Domain Names“

NARALO (North American Regional At-Large Organization) is a group within ICANN that is made up of individuals and organizations interested in Internet governance. The group holds monthly meetings to discuss various issues and topics related to ICANN and general Internet governance.

During the upcoming December NARALO meeting, Internet Commerce Association leadership will be making a presentation discussing the domain name aftermarket and its merits. ICA General Counsel Zak Muscovitch and Board Member Nat Cohen will host the talk entitled, “The Secondary Market in Domain Names.“

The presentation is open to the public and will be held on Monday, December 14th at 3pm Eastern time. According to a report, the NARALO meeting played to another presentation called “An Unsympathetic Introduction to Domaining,” which was led by Evan Leibovitch. I believe the aim of the December 14th presentation is to discuss the merits of domain name investing and offer the perspective of domain name investors and investment companies.

The presentation will be held virtually, and it is open to the public. You can find the login information on the NARALO page within the ICANN website.
