How has the Summer been in terms of domain name sales for you? If you’re Andrew Rosener or on the Media Options team, it sounds like it has been a pretty hot Summer. The company “completed well into the 8-figures in domain name sales in August,” according to its CEO Andrew Rosener:
We @MediaOptions completed well into the 8-figures in domain name sales in August. Most of these sales will be uncovered with time by @GeorgeKirikos or @DInvesting. But its not my place to post those transactions.
Lot of domain brokers post about big domain sales on social…

Andrew did not share any of the sales his domain brokerage closed, but I am pretty sure one was recently discovered by George Kirikos last week:
It appears that the elite 2-letter dot-com domain name EM[.]com has changed hands, as it’s now at MarkMonitor under the WHOIS of DNStination (their stealth acquisition unit).
Did Exxon Mobil finally make @andrewrosener the proverbial “offer he couldn’t refuse”? 🤔

EM.com is now registered under Whois privacy at MarkMonitor. The domain name does not yet resolve, so the buyer is unknown at this point in time. I assume this was a very large deal, but Andrew wouldn’t share the sale (or asking) price when I asked him about it.
Kudos to Andrew and his Media Options team on having a great August. Hopefully their solid run continues throughout the Fall.
News Alert: Undisclosed domain sell for undisclosed price.
In fairness, George did sleuth out the sale of EM.com.
Neither name nor price has been stated. It is nothing news.
this is a speculation blog piece.
