GoDaddy to Introduce Branded BIN Landing Page

I was on a call with GoDaddy this morning where the company shared some insights from the past year along with some things that are coming in 2021. One of the most exciting things I think domain investors will appreciate is that GoDaddy will be launching a GoDaddy-branded buy it now landing page for domain names listed for sale on Afternic.

GoDaddy has launched this buy it now page on a handful of domain names from its portfolio for testing purposes. Although it does not appear to be in use directly on the landing page right now, a visitor who clicks the purchase link on the top of the landing page will be able to access this BIN page. For the time being, you can check out the lander to see for yourself. A screenshot of the lander is below:

Notably, the landing page utilizes the GoDaddy branding to help convey trust with prospective buyers. In addition, a buyer would go through the standard GoDaddy purchase stream to acquire the domain name.

GoDaddy intends to soft-launch the landing page with domain names from its NameFind portfolio in the short term, and the company will roll this out to investors at some point this year. Once I find out that the landing page becomes available for investors to use, I will share an update. I think this will become very popular for investors who sell their domain names via GoDaddy and Afternic.
