NamesCon Europe added two additional keynote speakers to the agenda today. Frank Schilling, founder of Uniregistry, and professional surfer João de Macedo will be delivering keynote addresses during next month’s conference in Portugal. NamesCon previously announced the conference panel topics, as well as a keynote from another professional surfer, Andrew Cotton.

Organizers of the NamesCon Europe domain conference unveiled some of the expert panel discussions that will take place during the upcoming conference which will be held next month in Portugal. It looks like organizers have also released a tentative agenda for the conference.

In an email sent to NamesCon newsletter subscribers this morning, conference organizers announced there will be a live domain name auction with concurrent online bidding held during NamesCon Europe. The auction will be held on June 20th at 5pm (WET). The online auction will be held via NameJet.
The 2019 NamesCon live auction was held on January 28, and the extended auction ran for a few weeks after the live auction concluded. This morning, I received the full 2019 NamesCon auction sale list, which I shared below. These sales include domain names that were sold in both the live and extended auctions. In total, 124 domain names were sold for just under $2.5 million.
GoDaddy VP and Aftermarket GM Paul Nicks was one of the keynote speakers at the 2019 NamesCon conference. Because of the amount of data and insight that was shared in his NamesCon 2018 keynote presentation, Paul’s keynote was the one I was looking forward to seeing the most. A few weeks ago, I shared Paul’s presentation slides that accompanied this year’s presentation, and the video of his keynote was uploaded to GoDaddy’s YouTube account late last week.
