Important: 2020 NamesCon Global Date Change

I want to share an update with you that I just received from NamesCon organizers. The date of the NamesCon Global conference in Austin, Texas has been changed. NamesCon Global 2020 will be held from January 29-February 1, 2020. It had previously been scheduled for a few days prior.

One of my favorite parts of NamesCon Europe in Portugal was the sunset cruise organized and sponsored by Giuseppe Graziano, founder of LXME. It was a nice evening to see some of Lisbon’s sights from the water, and there was a strong turnout. NamesCon Europe Announced 2020 – 2022 Locations

As NamesCon Europe concludes in Cascais, Portugal, NamesCon CEO Soeren von Varchmin announced the locations for the 2020, 2021, and 2022 conferences. NamesCon Europe 2020 will take place in Budapest, Hungary, NamesCon Europe 2021 will be held in Rome, Italy, and NamesCon Europe 2022 will be held in Cologne, Germany.

NamesCon Announces NamesCon Global Austin Conference Date (Updated)

Important Update: On July 29, conference organizers announced a date change. NamesCon Global will be held January 29 – February 1, 2020.

NamesCon made a couple of important announcements related to its 2020 conference in an email sent to subscribers this morning. Of greatest interest to me is the date for NamesCon Global 2020 in Austin, Texas has been set. The conference will be held January 26-29, 2020. January 29 – February 1 Conference organizers previously announced that NamesCon would no longer be held in Las Vegas after 2019.

ICANN to Hold Industry Stakeholder Training Before NamesCon

If you’re in the domain investment business and planning to attend NamesCon Europe in Portugal later on this month, ICANN is hosting a Domain Name Industry Stakeholder Training session a day before the conference. The session is free to attend and is scheduled for June 19 from 9am to 4pm.

NamesCon Europe Auction Goes Live

It looks like the auction list for NamesCon Europe has been published on NameJet. Bidding on domain names in the upcoming conference auction has begun. Assuming the auction is run in the same way as the NamesCon Global auction in January, there will be a smaller group of domain names included in a live auction held on Thursday, June 20th.
