I want to share a list of all possible two letter .com domain names. In total, there are 676 domain names listed here (26 letters x 26 letters = 676 combinations). Many of the domain names below are owned by major corporations and likely would not be for sale for any price. For instance, I can’t imagine American Airlines ever selling the AA.com domain name. There have been a number of recent LL.com domain sales, with many taking place privately without a public record, aside from a Whois change.

At some point, I might update this list and include the Whois ownership information for the LL.com domain names that have corporate owners because those are unlikely to change hands (aside from corporate mergers and sales). For the time being though, I am going to leave the list as is for a reference point to show just how few two letter .com domain names there are in existence.

The 2104  Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in the United States was released this week, and I thought it would be interesting to have a look at the exact match domains (EMD) in .com that are on the list. I was able to search using “.com” as the keyword, and listed below  are the companies that I consider exact match .com domain names.

There are many companies that have .com in their name, but I only included the names I felt were keyword domain names. For example, I did not include CardCash.com because that seems more like a brand than an exact match .com. This isn’t a scientific look at the results, so other people might have added more or fewer companies to the list depending on their definition of EMD.

Scott Neuman is a domain investor, and he is running for the US House of Representatives in the 4th Congressional District of New Jersey. The general election will be held in November 4, 2014. Neuman is running on the Democratic-Republican Party ticket, and he is running against the Incumbent, Chris Smith (Republican Party) and Ruben Scolavino (Democratic Party).
