NameJet has seen several two letter .com domain names come up for sale on the platform this year. Other sales and listings that didn’t meet reserve include the following LL.com domain names:

Great Domains Auction Results: HSZ.com is Top Sale

Sedo’s monthly Great Domains auction concluded this afternoon, and the auction results have been published below. The auction resulted in over $200,000 worth of sales and 24 domain names were sold.

The largest sale of the auction went to HSZ.com, which sold for 65,580 EUR (roughly $71,700 at today’s exchange rate). BMV.com sold for $41,125 and OZX.com sold for $24,999. The four largest sales of the month were for 3 letter .com domain names, and many of the other sales were short domain names.

The full list of December Great Domains sales is below. Keep in mind that the auction concluded today and these sales are not officially closed until Sedo reports them in the weekly sales reports. Some sales take longer to close than others.

LTD.com Sells for $184,000 on NameJet

LTD.com sold at NameJet today for $184,000. Bidding on the auction extended  well beyond the original ending time due to the volume of bids that were placed as it was concluding. The auction was jointly promoted by NameJet and SnapNames.

There were 327 bids made on this auction, and there were 261 bidders who participated in the auction. There were 6 bidders who bid above $100,000 for the domain name.

Since the auction concluded this afternoon, the domain name sale should not be considered final. NameJet will likely report the sale to DNJournal, NameBio, and other outlets once the deal closes.

If the deal were to close today, it would rank as the

Results From Sedo’s Numeric .Club Auction

Sedo ran a numeric auction in conjunction with the .Club registry, and the auction concluded today. Sedo shared the results of the auction, which netted $44,727 in total sales. I have published the results of the no reserve auction below.

From what I understand, all of the domain names that were put up for auction were sold. Obviously since the auction ended this afternoon, all of these auctions should be considered “pending sales,” until they are paid and transferred. I would imagine the sales will all be reported to NameBio once they close.

The top three sales were triple repeating numbers – 555.Club, 111.Club, and 666.Club. The next few sales had the number 8 in them. 16 auctions had bids greater than $1,000. The lowest value sale was 544.Club, which sold for $169.

In total, 37 NNN.Club domain names were sold today.

Sedo Updates Search Functionality & Will Host a .Club Numeric Auction

Sedo just announced that it updated its search criteria to allow users to search for numeric domain names on its platform. This should make it easier for domain name buyers to find numeric domain names for sale at Sedo. The new search feature can be found in the advanced search filter options in Sedo’s search engine.

Yesterday, I reported .Club founder Colin Campbell’s tweet announcing that “[a]s of today, all 4 number names are now registered with a few still premium”. In addition to the search functionality update, Sedo also announced that it will be holding a numeric domain name auction for .Club domain names from November 12- 19. I am not sure if the domain names being auctioned are owned by the registry, and I do not have details about whether auction submissions are being accepted. Be in touch with Sedo if you have any questions.

Here is the news release I received with more information:

What is XXWW.com Worth?

Aside from owning SSSN.com and PRRR.com, I no longer own many domain names that seem to be in great demand to Chinese domain name buyers. I suppose I don’t fully understand the rationale for these purchases and am concerned that if I jump into that market right now I will end up losing money.

I read Shane Cultra’s list of domain names coming up for auction, and he highlighted one that was intriguing to me. In this morning’s post, Shane said, “XXWW.com OK this is the best name on the board. Maybe not in the future but right now.” I clicked through, and I see XXWW.com is up for auction on Sedo right now. The current high bid is $10,000 and the reserve has been met.

To be totally honest, I
