Recent Acquisitions

10 Recent Acquisitions

If you’re in the US, I hope you are having a nice Independence Day holiday today. Seems like the East Coast is having some relief from the heat wave. Wherever are, I hope your July is off to a good start.

As I do on occasion, I want to share some of my recent acquisitions with you. I am constantly buying domain names to keep a strong inventory. These ten names were either bought in the aftermarket or purchased at auction, and the purchase prices of all of them are private. You can see a more comprehensive list on my company’s website if you care about what names I own.

I haven’t done any hand registering in the last few weeks (can’t think of any off the top of my head anyway).

Ten Recent Acquisitions

I want to share ten recent acquisitions with you and hope you do the same in the comment section. I haven’t hand registered many names in the past few weeks, but I have been focusing on private acquisitions and auctions.

Here is a selection of new acquisitions from the past few weeks. I am keeping a few acquisitions private, mostly for competitive reasons. My corporate website lists additional investments of mine.

  • EventPlanner.com
  • EventPlanner.net
  • Tourmaline.com – (1995 registration, Tourmaline is becoming a popular gem for  jewelry)
  • OnlineAuctioneers.com
  • Jotters.com
  • ChelseaRealEstate.com
  • Choirs.com
  • CoalAsh.com
  • HousekeepingCompany.com
  • LivingDonor.com

What are some of your recent acquisitions and purchases?

Geodomain Acquisition

From the New York Times this past July:

Newburyport and Plum Island, at the mouth of the Merrimack River, combine shops, boutiques and maritime heritage with breathtaking views and beaches. The sea captains of 200 years ago are gone, but in town, the charm of their stately homes and commercial buildings remains.

Newburyport is a great tourist town in Massachusetts that is filled every spring and summer with vacationers. People come to walk along the water, enjoy boating activities, visit the art galleries and antique shops, and eat in the cute cafes and restaurants. There are beautiful homes and the town has a quaint New England feel feel.

My company just acquired Newburyport.com and plan to develop it in the coming weeks.

Incidentally, #3 on the NYT list of Northeast getaways is Lowell, Massachusetts.

Some New Domain Registrations

In the past couple of months, I’ve registered a few “new” domains. Some were expirations and a few were fresh registrations.

CigarEnthusiasts.com
HeatingOilDelivery.com
Frengles.com (French Bulldog & Beagle Hybrid – I have a Puggle)
DrinkKoozie.com
DrinkKoozies.com
ThreeIn1CreditScore.com
ThreeIn1CreditReport.com
DeepSeaFishingTour.com
TripleCreditWatch.com

Two Recent Domain Acquisitions

Subscribe to Elliot's BlogI am very happy to announce two new domain acquisitions on behalf of my company. The first and more important acquisition is Torah.com. This is going to be developed into a leading Judaism and Torah-studies website in the coming weeks and months. Torah.com is a very important (and expensive) domain name, and I am going to ensure that the site becomes one of the most respected Jewish-related websites.
SaveTheDates.com was also just purchased, and I plan to build a mini-site on it. Those of you who weren’t recently married may be scratching their heads, but anyone who has planned a wedding or is planning a wedding knows about save the dates. Whether you send save the date post cards, save the date magnets or save the date…. whatevers, you probably searched on Google for “save the dates.” I know I searched for “save the dates” when my wife and I were deciding how to let people know the date of our wedding, and I know others who do the same.
