Prenups vs. Wills – Which Would You Develop?

0

I just picked up two pretty strong legal domain names. Chances are good that I will develop one of them using a legal affiliate relationship and possibly a directory, and I will probably sell the other one. Both domain names are common legal terms, and they both have fairly strong search numbers according to Aaron Wall’s Search Tool. Which do you think is the better domain name?
PrenuptialAgreement.com
1,200,000 Google results for “prenuptial agreement
Many top and side advertisers several pages deep
Aaron Wall’s Keyword Tool – 173 daily count
LastWillAndTestament.com
1,120,000 Google results for “last will and testament
Many top and side advertisers several pages deep
Aaron Wall’s Keyword Tool – 340 daily count
LegalZoom has a great affiliate program for these legal agreements
Which would you keep and which would you sell?

Making Defensive Registrations

0

People usually thinking of defensive registrations as buying various extensions when they own the .com, buying the plural version of their domain name, and/or buying the common typos of their domain name. For really important domain names that receive strong traffic, doing all of this and forwarding all accidental traffic to the main domain name is advisable.
Sometimes you have to do more than this for your defensive registrations, even when you probably aren’t even going to develop the domain name. For example, I recently announced the acquisition of CelebrityBabyPhotos.com. I bought the name because more and more celebrities are being paid big bucks to gossip magazines for the rights to the first exclusive photos of their babies. To help protect this domain name, and to also increase the value of the package, I also recently purchased CelebrityBabyPictures.om.
Individually, these are both strong names, but I believe the value of the two names together is greater. No matter whether people are searching for “celebrity baby photos” or “celebrity baby pictures,” I am covered.

New Acquisition: CelebrityBabyPhotos.com

It seems that the latest rage in our gossip craving, celebrity worshiping society is to pay exorbitant amounts of money to celebrities for their baby photos. Searches for “celebrity baby photos,” have been growing over the last several months, just as the hefty sums to acquire the exclusive photos have grown. To capitalize on this trend, I just purchased CelebrityBabyPhotos.com.
Although I am not quite sure what I am going to do with the domain name yet, I know there is great value in the name. Just today the New York Post gossip section led off with an article about Ashlee Simpson’s pregnancy rumors and the fact that her father is pitching photos of her baby for $1,000,000. TMZ has also been covering Ashlee’s pregnancy.
This comes on the footsteps of other multi-million dollar celebrity baby photos, including Jennifer Lopez, Katie Holmes, Christina Aguilera, and many others. As people continue to spend a considerable amount of money reading up on celebrity lifestyles, the payouts are going to continue to grow.
