KPMG Moves from KPMG.com to Home.KPMG

61

If you watched the Masters golf tournament over the past several days, you may have noticed Phil Mickelson sporting a KPMG hat. Viewers who decided to check out KPMG.com would notice something that a few domain investors emailed me about during the prior few days. KPMG, one of the largest management consulting and accounting firms, shifted its primary url from KPMG.com to Home.KPMG.

Constantine Roussos Announces .Music Win

14

Yesterday morning, Kevin Murphy from Domain Incite predicted that Constantine Roussos’ company (DotMusic) would prevail in the application to operate the .Music domain registry. “it seems to me the balance of evidence right now is strongly pointing to a win for DotMusic over sole remaining rival bidder MMX,” Kevin wrote yesterday. If you are watching the men’s NCAA basketball tournament (aka March Madness), you may have spotted a Google Cloud television commercial that highlights the company’s G.CO domain name. MarkMonitor VP Statton Hammock took a photo of his television to catch the tail end of Google’s television spot with the url:

Donuts Hiring Chief Marketing Officer

Donuts is looking to hire a Chief Marketing Officer, according to a job posting on LinkedIn. The CMO job opportunity was posted about a week ago, and it looks like there are 90 applicants via LinkedIn so far. I believe Jeff Davidoff was the last CMO at Donuts. It looks like he left that position in June of 2016, and I don’t believe it was filled after his departure. The CMO job will be based in the company’s Kirkland, Washington office.

Here’s an excerpt from the job posting that describes the Chief Marketing Officer position at Donuts:
