This morning, Presidential candidate Joe Biden tweeted out a link to MakeAPlan.com, and President Barack Obama also mentioned the domain name in a tweet:
In 2020, we show up early — for everything, but especially for voting. Get out there and vote! https://t.co/70CqTO5Gbf https://t.co/gmBsdOhwOL

It is not uncommon to see a descriptive, call to action domain name used in a political campaign. MakeAPlan.com is not necessarily political in nature, but I can see how it would be an effective political call to action domain name.
The thing that I found interesting is that the domain name was just acquired via GoDaddy and its NameFind portfolio company earlier this month. Historical Whois records at DomainTools show that NameFind, LLC was the registrant of this domain name as recently as October 12th. The domain name is now registered under privacy at CSC. At the bottom of the MakeAPlan.com website, it says, “Paid for by the Democratic National Committee.” This domain name had once been owned by Michael Berkens and his Worldwide Media, Inc. company that was acquired by GoDaddy.
According to GoDaddy’s appraisal tool, MakeAPlan.com is worth just shy of $5,000. Notably, the domain name is not listed in the comparable sale section, so I would imagine privacy was requested by the buyer. I would imagine the domain name was priced in this range, though I would not be surprised if it held a low five figure price tag.

He needs a plan for sure.
