Why Do You Want to Attend NamesCon?

NamesCon is coming up in a little over a month (January 10-13, 2016) at the Tropicana in Las Vegas. I will be there from the 9th through the 13th. As I have mentioned in the past, I traded advertising on my blog in exchange for an equivalent amount of conference tickets I can give away to people who read my blog.

I want to give one of those tickets away tomorrow morning. If you are interested in attending NamesCon, have not yet purchased your own conference ticket, and would go if I give you one of my conference tickets, please write a comment sharing the reason you want to attend NamesCon.

The submission deadline is 9am on Friday morning (December 4, 2015). At that point, I will let you know who gets one of my conference passes at no cost. You will obviously have to pay for transportation to the conference, the hotel, and all expenses, but I will take care of the cost of your NamesCon conference ticket.

Many comments need to be manually approved by me before showing up. If your comment disappears or otherwise doesn’t show up, there’s a chance that it got marked as spam and won’t be seen. If you believe that happened to your comment, please contact me ASAP so I can search for it and approve. I can’t read it if it gets caught in the spam filter.

  1. I want to meet you Elliot and Thank you for all the knowledge you freely shared over the years. And also connect with others in the industry as well. I never been to namescon or Vegas.

  2. I do not want to miss the Uniregistry’s party.
More seriously, NamesCon is just a MUST; travelling from my location (Belgium) + the ticket is just a bit above my budget.
If I do not win the ticket, I guess I will have no other choice to go to the European Domaining Conference 🙂

  3. I just heard Elvis is going to be there, so now I really want to go. (And don’t worry, Elliot. I already bought my own ticket and would never let you pay for my ticket even if you wanted to pay for it!) Thanks, though, for another one of your generous offers to the industry.

  4. I wish they held this the 3rd week of January in line with the KBIS convention, that way I could attend both at the same time.. And speaking of Fogerty, we have tickets to see John Fogerty at the Venetian, he’s doing 8 shows that month, look it up! Yeah he’s up in age, but he’s a rock legend, even after CCR, 45 years later his music is still popular today, it will never die!

  5. Hi Elliot. This is awesome and very generous of you.

I linked to your post on my blog. I’m all set on my ticket, but I’m sure that this will make a huge difference for someone who’s struggling to attend. Way to go man! Thanks for looking out for your colleagues like that.

  6. I would like to attend namescon 2016 because after 12 years of domaining I’m thinking I take this to the next level and actually attend my first domain conference…we domainers outside the US feel lonely at times 🙂

  7. I have always been on the edge of going to a domain conference for the past several years and having a free conference pass would be the push I need to book my hotel and flight today.

The main reason I have never attended a conference is because I have a full-time job. My wife and I had our first kid in October and that has been an eye-opener for us both. It is now time to grow my domain investing to a whole new level.

  8. Tx Elliot for your generous offer and all that you do for the industry.

    Would like to go because:

    1) never been to an industry conference before, and namescon was so well rated last year
    2) would like to meet all the ‘players’ in one spot for easy dealmaking
    3) offering a donation to your fav charity if any deals as result of meetings made at conference as result of this kind gift
    tx for your consideration

  9. First of all Thanks to Elliot Silver for his generous donation and encouraging new comers in this industry.

This will be my first domain conference and i have already bought the tickets so let other wins.

Regarding Hakkasan event i think it would be good if you guys change that date to saturday night Jan 9 , as Monday be good but if majority of event attendee going to join then we going to have DJ doing auction on stage and drunk milf dancing on floor!!
