Verisign posted a job opportunity via LinkedIn approximately three weeks ago, and it might be of interest to someone with domain industry experience. Verisign is looking to hire a Platform Manager to help manage the company’s domain name registry platforms. Verisign operates the .com, .net, .gov, and several other extension. The company will also operate the .Web registry.

“The Domain Name Registry Platform Manager plays a key role in managing Verisign’s registry platforms. In the qualification section of the job posting, Verisign mentioned domain industry experience and expertise several times. In fact, the role would likely be a good fit for someone who has domain registry management experience, either with another industry company or even via ICANN.
