The silver lining about the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic is that I have been able to spend a lot more time with my kids the past few months. My business is much more flexible than my wife’s, so I have been spending the bulk of my day with our kids. It has not been without its challenges, but I feel very fortunate to be able to spend quality time with them.
This morning, the conditions were almost perfect for a nature hike. We hiked through some local Mass Audubon trails, and it was nice to be able to spend some time with the kids, enjoying nature, without business distractions.
Towards the end of our hike, we found this painted rock with a positive message I want to share with you.
There is an incredible amount of crazy in our world today. Sometimes it’s good to spend some time outside to take a break and catch my breath. Hope you find time to catch your breath and take a break.
Peace.
Loved reading this Elliot. Thank you.
Good reminder, thanks for sharing this Elliot!
I am doing the same. Sometimes its quite challenging especially when there is some work that needs to be done. However, its also is nice to spend more time with the kids rather than sending them to school and daycare. Daily bike rides, lots of outside time and plenty of crafts. I never thought I’d have everyone at home every day all day for going on 4 months now. its definitely a time i won’t forget. We also find nice painted rocks around the neighborhood.
I find that “Peace” on the beach all the time…
Great message! Thank you posting.
Cool Post. Could not agree more.
Who’d thought 2020 would be masked by Covid.
thanks Elliot, it’s the little things in life.

I belong to a group that paints and hides rocks (when I can). It’s called The Kindness Project. Even if it’s not from our group, these posts are what we do it all for 🙂
That is great!
Sounds like a neat project for our kids.
