I think that Andrew Rosener is known as one of the top brokers in the industry. In fact, he was recently involved in PayPal’s sale of the X.com domain name to Elon Musk for an undisclosed price. I want to share details about a tweet with a special Name Summit offer that Media Options posted this morning. The tweet was followed up with a newsletter detailing the offer:
Discount @NameSummit tickets and a chance to win an exclusive hour-long coaching session w Andrew Rosener! https://t.co/FkfHg4n03a

The inaugural Name Summit domain industry conference is scheduled for August 7-8 at the Hilton Midtown hotel in New York City. I shared more information about Name Summit in an article published back in April. Since my article was published, Andrew Rosener was added as Co-Founder and Producer of the conference.
To encourage people to purchase their conference tickets ASAP, organizers announced a drawing for an “hour-long coaching session with Media Options CEO Andrew Rosener,” in addition to a special discount code to save $100 on the ticket price.
Here are the details I received in this morning’s Media Options newsletter:
“Hi! Interested in a chance to win an exclusive hour-long coaching session with Media Options CEO Andrew Rosener?
Buy your NameSummit tickets with the discount code “MEDIAOPTIONS” before midnight (EST) on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 to receive:
- A NameSummit ticket for $199 (Save $100 on your ticket!); and
- Be entered for a chance to win an hour-long mentoring session with Andrew Rosener, Founder and CEO of MediaOptions Inc. and online media consultant.
The winner will be randomly drawn from eligible registrants live at NameSummit 2017. To be entered you must purchase a ticket using the Promo Code MEDIAOPTIONS before midnight (EST) Wednesday, July 19, 2017, no exceptions. Winner’s consultation may be scheduled within 3 months of NameSummit.”
The conference ticket price is listed as $299, and there is a $100 discount applied with the Media Options discount code bringing the total cost to $199 + fees ($210.94 total cost). If you’re planning to attend Name Summit in a few weeks, this offer is appealing.
I doubt this event will be well-attended
Not sure.
If I weren’t riding 162 miles on my bike the two days prior to the conference, I would make the trip from Boston to be there.
No thanks, I don’t waste my money to take a “coaching session” (lol) with a scammer.
What do you mean? Please elaborate.
