Laurie Krick Announces Retirement

If you’re a NameJet customer, it’s quite likely you’ve worked with Laurie Krick. In her role as Director of Business Services at NameJet, Laurie has primarily worked with NameJet sellers. Her role expanded beyond that though, and she played an integral role in customer care for the auction platform. Whenever I had any type of technical issue at NameJet or an issue related to domain names I won at NameJet, Laurie was the person I turned to to get it resolved.

This morning, Laurie announced her upcoming retirement in a note to NameJet sellers:

“As many of you know, I joined eNom in 2000 and NameJet has been my priority and passion since 2007. For the last several years, I’ve been the go-to person for our Direct Sellers, but now it’s time for me to say goodbye, as I am going to retire on July 31st.

Have no fear! We have a plan already in place to take good care of you. We have a team of veteran staff that will respond to your Direct Seller service requests, schedule your auctions and handle your marketing needs.

So effective immediately, please start sending your Direct Seller related emails to the following people, based upon what you need:”

I appreciate all of the help Laurie has provided over the years. There have been countless times I emailed her asking about the provisioning of a domain name I won at NameJet or about auctions when I was the seller, and she was always quick to resolve the issue or put me in touch with someone else who could take care of the issue.

I wish Laurie all the best in her retirement.
