Donald Trump Mentions ClintonKaine.com on Facebook

A few weeks ago, I wrote about the sale of ClintonKaine.com via Flippa for $15,000. Shortly after the sale concluded, the ClintonKane.com domain name began forwarding to a page within Donald Trump’s Presidential campaign website.

It looks like Donald Trump has acknowledged the ClintonKaine.com domain name publicly for the first time in a Facebook post today:

As you can see, Donald Trump did not provide any context to the url besides linking to it. There was no confirmation that someone associated with the Trump campaign acquired the domain name, although I speculated that an entity associated with the campaign may have purchased it.

It looks like ClintonKaine.com is now its own website and no longer forwarding to Trump’s website. In addition, it looks like there was confirmation that it was Trump’s campaign behind the domain name purchase. At the bottom of the ClintonKaine.com website, there’s a note that says “Paid for by Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.

I think not buying this domain name was a mistake for Hillary Clinton’s campaign. She doesn’t really need the domain name, but owning it would have prevented someone else from using it to harm her campaign.

    • I agree with the first part of your comment but not the second. I don’t think it is a “very powerful tool.”

I do think it was a bad move for Hillary Clinton’s campaign to not secure this domain name because it makes them look a bit incompetent and that can be used as a minor talking point.

    • Very Good Point Elliot and a Strong possibility…
My point on this is that Most of Donald Trump’s Political Competition and / or enemy’s have tried extremely Hard to Call “DT” A Liar” by making up and fabricating very stupid “Lies” about “DT”… #1 This ClintonKaine.com Domain Name would make a Perfect Blog or Communication Tool for the “Trump Team” to respond to and Clarify to the Public – News – TV Rumors and Gossip etc etc… #2: I have watched Donald Trump for a long time and DT “Does Not Lie” and DT “Does Not Believe” in Lying”… #3 Any of Donald Trump’s Political competition who called him a Liar had their Political Stat Numbers Crash Very Quick because He Proved them 100% Wrong immediately …

  1. I remembered that I saw the story below a while back and for kicks typed it in and lo and behold http://misuenotuvoto.com/

Clinton’s campaign said the new effort, dubbed “Mi Sueño, Tu Voto” (“My Dream, Your Vote”), will be highlighted at several events around the country this week, including in Florida, Nevada and North Carolina — all states where the Hispanic vote is a growing force.
