In early September, I saw that Sedo domain broker Derick Clegg was brokering the sale of Confirm.com. When I inquired about buying the domain name, he told me they were in the agreement stage of a deal and couldn’t tell me the asking price as a result. Derick later reported that domain name was sold:
CONFIRM .COM SOLD! One or two of you picked up on it pretty quick 😉Congratulations to buyer and seller. @Sedo #domains #domain #sedo #domainnames pic.twitter.com/07YWfGPjhz

According to the weekly sales email from Sedo, the Confirm.com domain name was sold for $108,000. Although the Whois registration information is set to Namecheap’s privacy proxy service, I can see the domain name is now listed for sale via Brent Oxley’s Efty website. Confirm.com is a nice domain name, and I think this is a solid wholesale acquisition price.
Once Ron Jackson adds the sale of Confirm.com to his YTD sales report, it will rank in the top 25 domain name sales of the year. This $108,000 sale will rank just below the $112,000 sale of Caretaker.com, which I wrote about yesterday. I also added the sale to the Embrace.com list of recent one word .com domain name sales.
