Buyer Looking for Keyword .TV Domain Names

I have not invested in .TV domain names, but I understand the space is pretty active. I know of someone looking to acquire one or two very good keyword .TV domain names (under $10,000). If you are looking to sell a .TV domain name or two, please post in the comment section with price.

Requirements are as follows (Must meet ALL of them):

  • One or two keywords
  • Exact match local search volume 10,000+
  • Must make sense as a .TV, like Comedy.TV or Cooking.TV, but not IceCream.TV
  • .TV Names only
  • No Hyphens or numbers
  • Price is a must and must be under $10,000

Anyway, 10K LOCAL EXACT match is a VERY strict filter and from the US will probably eliminate my Spanish portfolio but here goes (all have normal renewals)… $9995 $9995 $9995 $9995 $1500 $2500 $5000 $2500 $2500 $1500 $5000 $2500 $5000 $5000 $5000 $1500 $1299 $2500 $2500 $1500 $5000 $2500 $1500 $1500 $1299 $1500 $799 $1000

FYI – If the filter were a little looser I have a nice portfolio of solid keyword .TVs with good search volume in English, Spanish as well as a few in Portuguese.

Note the listings above do not constitute an offer and prices are subject to change.

    • If you’re interested in buying, selling or trading .tv in Spanish, I’ve got some great ones like:
      and others.

      Let me know

Sorry about the numbers, but they do fit the extension πŸ™‚

  15. FWIW in my opinion anything that is advertised a lot on TV can make a good .tv domain. One needs look no further than past sales to see that it is a mixture of shorts, brandables and products/services that seem to end up in end-user hands.
I agree with the previous poster that is better than the majority of names here.

  16. I have alot of tv channels at home and I have seen tv programs that cover most of these topics. My apologies if I threw a few IceCream’s in there. It is hard to tell what can be used for entertainment these days.

    I always have a difficult time pricing my domains and I really like all of these and really love some of them. But I do get motivated by offers so I could be negotiable on some of these prices. – $1000 – $3000 – $2500 – $9500 – $1500 – $3000 – $1000 – $5000 – $7500 – $7500 – $5000 – $5000 – $9500 – $7500 – $5000 – $9500 – $5000 – $9500 – $1500 – $9500 – $2500 – $5000 – $5000 – $9500 – $1500 – $9500 – $9500 – $1000 – $9500 – $9500 – $5000 – $5000 – $1500 – $1000 – $7500 – $5000 – $5000 – $2000 – $1000 – $9500 – $9500 – $2500 – $9500 – $9500 – $9500 – $7500 – $9500 – $5000 – $1500 – $5000 – $5000 – $5000 – $2500

  17. Elliot,
That was my point. What?? What in the sam hill does that even mean? Hey I cant wait to buy….what are these people thinking??

  18. Walking.TV – $ 9,995

    Sweaters.TV – $ 8,995

    Soups.TV – $ 8,995

When they get done walking there will be a lot of “sweaters” and then when it’s cold outside they’ll just have to wear them πŸ™‚
    And then have some soups:)

Thinking pricing of Walking.TV might be too low – hmmm? πŸ™‚

Got a quite a few more but let’s start with these πŸ™‚

  19. 3 that fit the criteria:

(12,100, 10,000, and 22,200 local monthly exact, respectively)

$2500 for Debt Relief, the other two, $9500.

  20. Swim – $10,000
    Move – $10,000
    Police – $10,000
    Romance – $10,000
    Clips – $8,000
    Article – $5,000
    webpage – $3,000
    fansite – $2,000

  21. Hey Elliot,

Thx for reaching out to the Dot TV Community.
You should thank your friends at, and for posting a link to your post here. I’ll try to get one up at for you also.

I have too many Dot TV domains to list here, but everything I own is always for $ale.

Just let the buyer know to click on my name ( up here at the top of my comment, and it will direct him to a stellar search of everything he is looking for. Matter of fact, many of the names others have listed here…I sold to them. πŸ™‚

My list needs to be a little updated because I have moved things around a little bit and havent had the time to keep up with everything. Just a few minutes ago, I sold another Dot TV…

Another very tiny little $xx tv domain investment turned into $772… and funny thing is I rarely sell for under 4 digits anymore…lol

    TV = Kicking A$$ and selling Name$!

  22. Classic domains wanted thread only its not a forum.

Budget $10,000 average names priced at $9500

The arbitrary reason why IceCream.TV makes no sense but Cooking.TV does.

The request for 10,000 local searches (assume US) for a TLD that in general gets ZERO natural traffic

A stated budget yielding results priced to budget not to value.

Look at whois. Send email with offer. Buy Name.

    It’s cheaper that way.

  25. Dave@

    1.Andes has 5,400 Local Monthly Searches.The criteria it’s 10,000+

2.Has to make sense, does not really make that much sense.

But i bought it because i know transilvaniatv its a new paper co.

  26. unknowndomainer@
The post makes to much sense.

    u said:
1.”The arbitrary reason why IceCream.TV makes no sense but Cooking.TV does”–Answer, there’s a lot of cooking channels going on tv,not one ice cream channel.

2.”The request for 10,000 local searches (assume US) for a TLD that in general gets ZERO natural traffic”-Answer

The post it’s about a generic name not TLD, leave that up to their SEO if they get traffic or not it’s not your problem.

3.”A stated budget yielding results priced to budget not to value”- sorry this one i can not understand πŸ™‚

  30. I do have quite a collection and would suggest the following may fit the requirements. All are .TV – all are standard renewal names

  31. This is an sad list of names for 90 percent of you. makes us .tv investors look like mother fuckers. Old school investors and good quality portfolios know what there doing like Jim as an example. Couple others.

Fan boys here we go! This is worse then the .co jumping of joy fan boys as well!

  32. @rich and @markh

Fair enough but then again I did ask for a realistic price of only $175 unlike some of the others here so that is why I included it.

  33. All names are highly search keywords centering around medical conditions, treatments and remedies. Also some health & beauty names. All names have high PPC and great affiliate marketing potential. Sorted in decreasing order search volume.

  34. .TV is crazy, been invested in since 2000, sold a name for $50K recently to end-user (NDA) that most domainers would not even offer $500 for, crazy world were in:-))

By the way, Happy Father’s day Elliot!!! Hope your not working today!

  35. A few more from my portfolio.

  36. You asked for names like Cooking.TV, so here’s:

    “COOK” $10K

Our regular price is usually higher than buyer’s budget, but the name is for sale in our newsletter for Father’s Day which goes out later today. Plus we’re offering a Buy 2 get 3rd Free (cheapest) promo for 24 Hours on 100+ names, including “Cook”.

with prices ranging from RETAIL to RESELLER

    Coed $10K
    Cook $10K
    Riviera $10K
    Catwalk $10K
    Parties $10K
    Adventures $5K
    Auditions $1K
    Directors $1K
    Performers $1K
    100+ names for sale.

  40. Dave@
Why spend $175 for something you dont need.My advise to you ,if i may keep it and sell it to the Peru people.

Your tv names…they are bad. Please don’t renew them.
Take that money and if you got a wife go to the caribbeans you will be better off.
Trust me one day you will thank me.
In my first year of domaining i lost 8 thousand dollars because i was not educated in the domaining business.
Good luck to you and i hope you listen.

  41. How about these:

    *Exact local searches: 49,500

*Makes good sense as a .tv

*Price: $1,000 – good for a week (through next Sunday)

  43. Michael…..Michael…..Michael……………….

I just hope you went to Name dot com and got them for
$10.99 a pop. ToeNailFungus tv? RingWormTreatment tv?

Don’t be discouraged though, hit the reset button and try to
develop some dot coms that will give you a source of income.

    Good Luck!

Romance is very nice Jason. Creme de la creme.

Personally, I feel it is disrespectful to post names on Elliot’s blog that seem so obviously outside of the criteria that was so explicitly defined. I do not see any difference between this and unwanted spam. I am not judging your domains – I honestly wish you the best – and certainly you are not the only one that has posted domains that do not fit the criteria the buyer is looking for. But since you have posted so many domains that do not meet even 4 of 6 of the requirements as specified by Elliot I have singled you out as a perfect example of what I and any serious domain investor should take issue with.

First, the only criteria most of your domains meet is they are “.TV Names Only” and they have “No Hyphens or numbers”. But they flunk the rest of the test. Names such as have more than “One or two keywords”, they don’t have anything near “Exact match local search volume 10,000+”, they don’t at all “make sense as a .TV, like Comedy.TV or Cooking.TV” imo, and there are no prices – “Price is a must and must be under $10,000.”

I am not sure why would you think it is OK to post these here? Elliot is serious and he is a professional and he has a serious and professional client base and readership mixed in here. Why would we want serious, professional, potential end users and investors that might want to see names being offered that fit the criteria Elliot specified to have to look through a bunch of names that do not fit the criteria? Again I am not judging your names outside of the requirements as outlined in this post but I do think it is unprofessional and disrespectful to so blatantly disregard Elliot’s requests and all the other domain investors that are trying to create and work in some form of a serious, coherent, sensical, business environment.

This is just my two cents and I hope I do not come off as too self righteous but I think these are valid points worthy of comment…

  45. Nice post by Markh
Michael you can pick a drop day, whichever you want and register the 50 first names that are free after drop. I think will be better from your collection of now.
Anyway i am joking, even if what i wrote above is true i think,
but i think is disrespectful to post such names at such a respectful domaining place.

  46. ClearwaterBeach.TV

    Local Search Volume – 27,100

Price – $ 9,200 and a dinner at one of our fav restaurants when the buyer flys down so we can film the transaction πŸ™‚

  47. @unknowndomainer

Thank you for pointing that out. It is a misspelling. I’m surprised I didn’t catch that.

I had a similar occurrence in the late ’90s with, although that was a hand reg and was a drop in the wee hours of the morning.

Well, could still be a fine place for poor spellers to keep their video based calendars. πŸ™‚

  48. I’ve red almost all the domain posted and let me say, there were some great domains. πŸ™‚
I think here it is needed a domain to be used for a domain portfolio site. I think I have the right one here Asking price $1k
    Thank you

  49. Hi Elliot – I have the following two domains that fit your parameters… (search location set to France) – $9500 (27,100) – $9500 (110,000)

    Thanks Iain.

  50. The following sites meet all of the requirements: hitting more than 14K, 165K and 368k local searches respectively, for the appropriate audience.

I’ll let them go for $1k each individually, $1800 as a pair or $2400 for all three. Contact details are on the sites.

  51. Elliot,

I see now that the search figure I gave for was based on phrase and not exact. Apologies if I have wasted your or the buyer’s time.

Instead I would like to submit:

Exact local (US) monthly searches: 90,500

Price: $1000 (good for a week)

If your buyer should be interested in the other domain,, despite the fact that it does not meet all their criteria, they can have both for $1,200.

  52. elliott, i can believe your even giving anyone a forum to discuss .tv, discussion doesnt help anything, everyone should keep and not change their opinions and not diversify into shared tlds

.tv will never work, no one watches tv and the internet and tv arent related, no one will watch tv on mobile devices, i want to wait for a new tld, i dont want to buy whats available and being used my and channels like now, ………………i want to wait til 2015 when a new tlds comes out, or i want to have google own my video at youtube.

  53. Hey…..@Domains does not mean “dating” as you say in Portuguese.

It means “sexual encounters” , or alternatively in a lesser context just “meeting” someone.

I didn’t want to sell this for less than 20k but I need the money so would consider an offer just under 10k for a quick sale.

  55. @Page Howe

Here are a few of mine to start. We can chat about price later if it is necessary.

  57. Also,

I do not wish to price domains on a blog I might not be able to edit later, but I will sell all of these at a good price. Email if interested.

  62. Hey Elliot,

I have been thinking about this post for a while now.

I want to make a one time offer that your buyer can NOT refuse.

I have alot of incredible names that meet your buyers requirements listed on my site.

He can pick any ONE of my stellar dot tv domain names right now (24 hours only) listed on my site, and I will sell that one to him right now for $10k.

  63. @Voodoo

I would be surprised if anything came of it. A smart buyer would just look to see if any names are of interest and then make a much smaller offer later on anonymously.

Has anyone ever sold a name through this method? I just hope this comments thread shuts down quicker than the average .co comments thread (or the 3d thread on thedomains!)

  64. Hi Elliot,

I’m a little late to this but just thought I’d add my name to this list in case your contact is still in the market for a good buy.

    Where (tv) $4500

  65. Sorry three keywords, but has a lot of potential at 450,000 local and 673,000 global (just Google)

Good luck on your quest. I saw a few I might be interested in myself.

  66. If anyone interested in,
for a minimum offer of 500 USD at Sedo, I will push the domain to a Sedo auction.

  67. I have 1 word generic medical term for sale. Estibot $ 5600 over 1.000.000 searches, 250.000 exact. Its listed on Sedo, whoever gives me a $ 500 offer on Sedo, gets it (I will not sell it on an auction)

I joined here to learn about this business and thank you for opening my eyes. From hereon , i will be careful because my myth of being in company of honest ppl have been cleared away.

Even if , you will offer me 10000000 usd , i will NOT give this domain to you. I will give it for FREE to any media house of the country where according to you terrorists live.

  73. No , Richard I am sorry. Though , It will be the sale of the Century ( higher than , ) , I cant break my word as I am an Indian.

But if you really are the man of your word ( as you have offered USD 10,000,000 ) , please offer me the same price via media house of the country mentioned above.

  74. @Erand : If you would have been a true national and patriotic citizen of your country , you would have understood it . Well , laughing is understandable from non patriotic citizens of any country in the world..

  75. Puneet, if I was you I would be carefull with this name.
The last post of the previous owner of your domain at the one of domain forums was: “Hi guys. Do you know what is Mossad?”

  76. You didn’t understood me correctly, but anyway I’ll not continue with the discussion because I’ll get involved into a racism talk which will be very boring.

  77. Thanx Nick. I appreciate your concern.

However , if i was on that forum , I would have advised him ( last owner ) to watch movie ‘Munich’. He would have known about the organisation mentioned by you , very properly.

Just to add Nick , I also owns , , , as a part of my portfolio.
Just google them for their meanings.
