GoDaddy’s Blake Irving on Fox Business


GoDaddy reported its Q1 2017 quarterly earnings yesterday. This morning, company CEO Blake Irving was interviewed by Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business. In the interview, Blake discussed the company's most recent quarter, the company's growth, and he also shared some information about the company's main customers.

As of the time of publication, the company's stock (GDDY) is trading at $38.72/share, which is down about 1.6% on the day. In the past year, the stock is trading higher by nearly 30%. The stock is just off of its all-time high.

Blake Irving Discusses H-1B Visas on CNBC


Earlier this week, GoDaddy CEO Blake Irving penned a highly cited article on LinkedIn discussing H-1B visas. The strong lead-in to the article shows how dire Blake believes the situation is right now:  "The entire US economy is at stake with Trump's draft work-visa order."

I don't recall seeing GoDaddy take such a leading position on a politicized topic such as this. I don't know enough about the issue to have an educated opinion right now, but I admire  Blake for being brave enough to take such a public stance on the topic.

Product Hunt LogoEarlier today, GoDaddy CEO Blake Irving participated in a Product Hunt LIVE AMA session. During the course of this chat, participants had the opportunity  to ask Blake just about any question related to GoDaddy, the tech space, and beyond.

Blake Irving on CNBC Today


GoDaddy CEO Blake Irving was interviewed on CNBC this morning, and part of the interview is embedded below. In news announced this morning, GoDaddy has entered into an agreement to acquire Host Europe Group, "the largest privately-owned web services provider in Europe."

GoDaddy CEO Talks Earnings on CNBC


GoDaddy reported its quarterly earnings yesterday, and GDDY stock is currently trading up a little over 2% at $27.32/share (at the time of publication). GoDaddy stock debuted on the New York Stock Exchange on April 15, 2015, and the stock is currently up from its opening $26.15/share trade.

GoDaddy CEO Blake Irving made an appearance on CNBC this morning to discuss several things related to GoDaddy's business. Some of the topics that were broached were the quarterly earnings, the company ending its NASCAR car sponsorship, customer growth, and the Chinese market.
