My wife and I did some traveling and enjoyed the 4th of July holiday weekend with friends. My wife is an incredible runner, and we did a short run together on Friday followed by a longer individual run on Saturday. I can’t hang at her 8 minute/mile pace for 10 miles – nor would I run 10 miles in the humidity.
On Sunday, we were back home and did a 30+ mile bike ride together. It wasn’t super fast, but the purpose of these rides is to get my legs into shape to be able to ride 162 miles over two days in a month from now. The Pan-Mass Challenge is coming up August 3-4.
When I ride, I proudly wear my domain industry PMC jersey, which helped raise a substantial amount of money for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
John Berryhill has also been training hard for the Pan-Mass Challenge. I think he has been riding considerably more than I have over the last couple of months. He regularly shares photos on X from his weekend cycling adventures.
Together, with your help, we have raised more than $20,000 for Dana-Farber this year, so far. I am hoping to raise a few thousand dollars more before our ride. John and I are closing in on raising $200,000 total for Dana-Farber through our PMC rides. We appreciate all of the domain industry support, and we would be happy to add more colleagues to our list of domain industry supporters for 2024.
It’s been really hard to tell whether the jersey or the convertible Smart is more of a babe magnet.
I’m thinking they find the roster of domain industry donors to be practically irresistible.
