Lumis announced a substantial milestone this morning. The company has brokered $100 million + in domain name deals so far in 2026. The company primarily operates as a domain name buyer’s broker, so I suspect most of the value from these deals came from helping businesses acquire domain names.

In its announcement, Lumis shared some of the companies it worked with to achieve its $100 million in deals closed. For many of those companies, the domain name it helped acquire can only be inferred. However, Lumis regularly uses X to announce domain names it helped acquire. I’ve spotted quite a few times a domain name changed hands that was later confirmed to have been transacted via Lumis.
I am unsure how the $100 million mark compares to an average year, but helping to close $100 million worth of domain name deals is pretty massive for one company.
